Windows Phone E-Mail Support

Here's a Step-by-Step set of instructions on how to setup your e-mail account on your Windows Phone mobile device.

These instructions were written with the assumption that this is the first time that an e-mail is being added to your Windows Phone mobile device.  If it is not, then the steps that we've outlined below might be slightly different. 

Anyway, for you first-timers, simply follow the step-by-step instructions below and enter your e-mail account information where necessary. Once complete, you will be able to access your Webtrix e-mail on your device.

Step 1. On your Windows Phone mobile device, click "Start" then on "E-mail".

Step 2. When the screen changes, click on "Setup E-mail".

Step 3. Enter your "E-mail Address" and "Password" in the spaces provided. Make sure to check the box "Save Password", click Next.

Step 4. Uncheck the box "Try to get email settings automatically from the internet", click Next.

Step 5. For the E-mail Provider, select "Exchange Server", click Next.

Step 6. On this screen, simply click "Next", as you will have the needed information to continue setup.

Step 7. Your E-mail should already be listed from entering earlier in setup. Make sure that the box "Attempt to detect the Exchange Server Settings Automatically" is unchecked and click Next.

Step 8. You will need to enter the Server address of "mail.webtrix.net" in the space provided. Make sure to check the box "The server requires an encrypted SSL connection" and click Next.

Step 9. Verify the pre-populated Username against what you were given by Webtrix. (Note....This step is important.) The Password will be carried over from earlier in the setup. In the Domain field, enter "tothenet". Also, make sure to check "Save Password", click Next.

Step 10. Select the data you wish to sync by checking or unchecking your preferences (normally all are checked by default), and click Finish.

Step 11. You may receive a security warning pop-up message at this point, simply click OK to continue.

Step 12. That's it...your Windows Phone mobile device will sync with your Exchange E-mail account and is ready to use!
