How to setup your POP3/SMTP e-mail account:
Listed below are the steps required to setup Microsoft Outlook Express, a e-mail client that is on every Microsoft Windows PC on the market today. These settings will apply to almost any other POP3/SMTP e-mail client on the market in case you have your favorite one.
Step 1. Click on "Start” and then click on "All Programs" and then click on "Outlook Express". Outlook Express will open.
Step 2. Click on "Tools", then click on "Accounts".
Step 3. The "Internet Accounts" window will appear. Start by clicking on "Add" then on "Mail...".
Step 4. The "Internet Connection Wizard - Your Name" window will appear. Start by typing in your "Display name" and then click on "Next" to continue.
Step 5. The "Internet Connection Wizard - Internet E-mail Address" window will appear. Start by typing in your "E-mail Address" and then click on "Next" to continue.
Step 6. The "Internet Connection Wizard - E-Mail Server Names" window will appear. Start by typing in "Mail.Webtrix.net" as both the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers and then click on "Next" to continue.
Step 7. The "Internet Connection Wizard - Internet Mail Logon" window will appear. Start by typing in your "Account Name" and "Password" and then click on "Next" to continue.
Step 8. The "Internet Connection Wizard - Congratulations" window will appear. Click on "Finish" to continue.
Step 9. The "Internet Accounts" window will re-appear. Start by clicking on "Properties".
Step 10. The "Mail.Webtrix.net Properties - General" window will appear. Start by clicking on the "Servers" tab to continue.
Step 11. The "Mail.Webtrix.net Properties - Servers" window will appear. Start by placing a check mark next to "My server requires authentication", (This Step is VERY Important) and then click on "OK" to continue.
Step 12. The "Internet Accounts" window will re-appear. Finish by clicking on "Close".
You are all done! Just click on the "Send/Recv" button in the Outlook Express toolbar to check your mail!
