POP3/SMTP Account Setup Instructions . . .

POP3 Email Support

Here's a Step-by-Step set of instructions on how to setup your e-mail account for use with a POP3/SMTP e-mail client.

These instructions were written with the assumption that this is the first time that an e-mail is being added to Microsoft Outlook Express.  If you are using a different e-mail client, these steps will be very similar to the steps that we've outlined below.

Anyway, for you first-timers, simply follow the step-by-step instructions below and enter your e-mail account information where necessary. Once complete, you will be able to utilize all of the features and benefits of Microsoft Outlook Express.

Step 1. Click on "Start” and then click on "All Programs" and then click on "Outlook Express". Outlook Express will open.

Step 2. Click on "Tools", then click on "Accounts".

Step 3. The "Internet Accounts" window will appear. Start by clicking on "Add" then on "Mail...".

Step 4. The "Internet Connection Wizard - Your Name" window will appear. Start by typing in your "Display name" and then click on "Next" to continue.

Step 5. The "Internet Connection Wizard - Internet E-mail Address" window will appear. Start by typing in your "E-mail Address" and then click on "Next" to continue.

Step 8. The "Internet Connection Wizard - Congratulations" window will appear. Click on "Finish" to continue.

Step 9. The "Internet Accounts" window will re-appear. Start by clicking on "Properties".
